Portero

Terms of Service

Last updated: July 14, 2026

The short version

Portero is free software provided as is. Use it at your own discretion; you are responsible for what you kill and what you block.

Use of the app

Portero lets you inspect, terminate, and block network activity on your own Mac. Killing processes can cause unsaved work to be lost, and blocking ports can interrupt software that depends on them. The app asks for confirmation before destructive actions, but the decisions and their consequences are yours.

Portero is intended for use on machines you own or administer.
